Continuing on the themes of A Year, A Garden, A Feeling (COVID19 Diary) and Three Years, Two Gardens, One Feeling, I created this diorama during my May 2024 residency at Union House Arts in Port Union, NL. Inspired by patterns, beach detritus, and spring flowers, I created a series of small drawings and paintings, some of which are included in this miniature re-imagination of Union House. Also included within the diorama is my residency mate Christeen Francis’ cat, Stevee, who was my constant studio companion as I drew and painted.
